WHY YOU ATTACK THAT SQUIRREL CHI WAVE?

What is Chi Wave? And why is it such an enigma to figure out?

We know that it heals us and hurts anything that isn't us, be it a yellow non-hostile mob, a friendly NPC, or a hostile red angry elite pack.

So far, Chi wave hasn't been to terrible for me. I personally think of it like Prayer of Mending and Chain heal had a terrible evil baby that does what ever it wants, and even

goes out of it's way to do the worst thing possible. So far, I have killed random creatures, pulled mobs no where near the mobs the tank had, or hit NPC's who then tell my party

that I'm clearly a monster from Narlex's nightmare!

But, from all of this, there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason as to why chi wave does what it does.

DON'T WANNA READ ALL OF THIS? CHECK OUT THE BOLDED TEXT, IT MIGHT BE WHAT YOU WANNA SAY!

From what I've seen, it is NOT a smart heal. It likes to over heal a person more than it wants to heal the ONLY party member at 20% health.

It's bounces are NOT based off range. Common theory so far is that it bounces from the closest baddy to the closest ally, but during multiple quests, my chi wave would ignore

the 4 mobs beating on me and go a good 10 yards over to a non-hostile critter.

It will not bounce unless a bad guy is present. I assumed if no hostile creatures/humans/whatevers are present, then the chi wave would act like a chain heal, just in a more

bouncy fashion. Again, this might just be me unable to comprehend English.
